Autumn Finale

There is an intrinsic beauty in decay. We came across these apples on a bench under an old, wild apple tree last year. I took some photos and didn't change a thing with the composition. I was attracted to the beauty of each individual apple (and leaf) and thought that it was amazing that despite their wounds, cuts and bruises, they all have a real beauty to them. Isn't that a lot like humans?
