This painting will have a very colourful and blurry background. Looks like it needs a lot of masking so that I can paint it in a consistent manner.
I found an old watercolour brush, wet it with water and rolled it in liquid detergent. Then, I dipped it into the Demco liquid frisket. It paints on quite nicely. After I was finished painting with the frisket, I washed the brush thoroughly and it seems to be none the worse for wear. Whew!
Now that the mask is dry, I can mix up some paints for the background and get to work. Wish me luck!
