This post is dedicated to all of my art students who have been asking when I will be teaching again.
The teaching space at The Painted Tree art store is now dedicated to framing pictures. Darlene and her husband do a fine job of framing there. Today, we picked up my latest painting, beautifully framed by them.
So, what do you do when you lose your teaching space? You spend a couple of months renovating an under-utilized space into an art room. It is ready for when we are allowed to safely welcome people indoors.
I have been making some art in this space and it has a nice feel to it. I am hoping that sometime in the early fall, we may start having classes and workshops again. Check back here for details.
“May your coming year be filled with magic and dreams and good madness.
I hope you read some fine books and kiss someone who thinks you're wonderful,
and don't forget to make some art --
write or draw or build or sing or live as only you can.
And I hope, somewhere in the next year, you surprise yourself.”
