Let the Stress Begin

My brain was not built for loose, wet-on-wet painting. Today, I have an extended period of time to myself..... no commitments... and I am tackling the bowl. The fire is burning in the fireplace. I'm listening to Debbie Millman interview Malcolm Gladwell on Design Matters podcast. I mixed various combinations of Cobalt Blue/Purple Madder/Cerulean Blue/French Ultramarine/New Gamboge/Quinacridone Gold to have ready to pick up and quickly place where they are needed. Then, I took the leap and painted. So stressful!!!!!!!

Now, I am taking a break to calm down, pay good attention to what I just painted and plan the next layer. Wish me luck.
