Introducing "Wheat King". Luther Turner, born in 1862 in Tennessee, moved to Washington State at the age of 26 and started farming. More family history here.
Details of painting: Mostly Winsor & Newton Professional watercolours on Arches 300 lb. paper. Some of Daniel Smith's Iridescent Electric Blue and Cobalt Teal Blue along the horizon.
